I decided to change careers and enter the UX/UI field, because I like to do research and ideate empathetic solutions that help solve the problems and needs of others, this quality has also been reflected in my work as an educator and emotional advisor for both individual clients and companies, helping them solve structural problems and achieve their goals.
Working with design methodologies, such as Design Thinking, doing research, ideating, testing and going back to iteration, has become an integral part of the projects I currently work on as a freelance designer, after having completed in 2023, a professional Master’s in UX/UI Design, Graphic and Web Design at Idecrea, since I decided to specialize in UX/UI Design, I did a second Master’s in UX/UI Design at IEM Business School to further deepen my knowledge and skills.
Something that I find important when ideating and working on the UI part of each project, is to use my knowledge in: HTML, CSS and WordPress, as it helps me ideate more coherent designs and allows me to have a fluid communication with developers.
Another characteristic of mine, which inspires me to make user-friendly designs, is the cultural aspect of each project, having lived in 5 different countries (USA, Germany, Sweden, Peru and currently Spain) allows me to have a global vision, and makes it easier for me to connect with the culturally specific and diverse realities of each one of my clients.
